Alison Limerick’s singing career began in the musical “Labelled With Love”, which was based around the music of Squeeze. She went on to perform in other musicals including Webbers “Starlight Express’’ and Simon Callow’s “The Pajama game”.
Session work was diverse, ranging from Pete Murphy to The Style Council and This Mortal Coil, along with numerous other artists.
Alison’s debut album, ‘’And Still I Rise’ was released in March 1992 and included both ‘’Where Love Lives’’ and her top 20 hit ‘’ Make it On My Own’’. The same year alison won the Best Female Artist Award at 1992’s DMC Awards.
